2023: APC Finally Takes Decision Against Ngige| Newscrescent
The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Anambra state has disowned the Minister of Labour and Employment, Chris Ngige for not completely endorsing the party’s presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu.
While showing up on Channels Television prior in the month, Ngige said he would go with a choice on who to decide in favor of on his ballot paper.
He wouldn’t pick either Tinubu and Labour Party’s candidate, Peter Obi, claiming they were the two his friends.
“Both of them are my friends. My choice will be in the ballot box. Whether conscience or no conscience, on that day in February, I’ll have one vote,” Ngige had said.
In any case, in a statement on Sunday, the chairman of APC in Anambra, Basil Ejidike, said Ngige’s perspectives don’t represent the party in the state.
Ngige never said he represented the party during the interview and whatever he said was personal and does not reflect the position of the party in Anambra state,” Ejidike said.
