2023: Tinubu Lists 4 Conditions Before He Will Debate With Obi, Attend AriseTV Townhall Meeting

The presidential candidate of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu has listed 4 conditions before he would engage his Labour Party counterpart, Peter Obi, in a debate.

The APC presidential candidate’s demands from Peter Obi , are also serving as a precondition for him to attend the presidential town hall meeting organised by Arise Television, The Guardian reported.

The former governor of Lagos state spoke through the spokesperson of the APC presidential campaign council (PCC), Festus Keyamo on Tuesday, November 29. Said:

Tinubu would only attend a debate with Peter Obi of the Labour Party if the former Anambra governor could only present his manifesto to the Nigerian public for scrutiny.

Keyamo also asked the Labour Party flagbearer to list his achievement when he was the governor of Anambra state before any debate can hold.

The APC also demanded that Peter Obi should name any political party he had formed as a politician.

Tinubu, through the spokesperson of the PCC then demanded that Obi should name his political mentees and let Nigerians know if they are still with him.

Earlier, the presidential candidate of the ruling All Progressives Congress dismissed the presidential candidates of the Labour Party, Peter Obi.

The former governor of Lagos state said he can’t even mention the former Anambra State governor’s name.

Tinubu claimed that Peter Obi lies with his arithmetic whenever he speaks. He went further to call Obi’s as a warehouse economist.

The former Lagos state governor lashed out at his competitors during an engagement with Niger Delta stakeholders in Gbaramatu, in Delta state.

He spoke in the presence of full compliment of traditional rulers from the kingdom led by the Pere of Gbaramotu Kingdom, His Royal Highness, Oboro Gbaraun II.

He said:“The other one, that one he think (say) na statistics we go chop, he lies with arithmetic that no Indian can solve it (sic). To mention his name is a disgrace to me self.

“I won’t mention the name, wrong arithmetic, wrong statistics,warehouse economy, that is not what Nigeria needs.”
