After 2023 election, Obi supporters would cry “rigging!” – Deji Adeyanju

Deji Adeyanju, a social commentator, predicted that Peter Obi’s followers would claim the 2023 election was rigged if their candidate for president of the Labour Party did not win.

On February 25, 2023, eligible Nigerians will cast ballots to elect a new president.

Obi, Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Bola Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress (APC), and Rabiu Kwankwaso of the New Nigeria Peoples Party are the four front-runners in the poll (NNPP).

Adeyanju had, however, anticipated that Obi would finish third in the polls.

He claimed that the former governor of Anambra and his supporters had refused to erect buildings nationwide.

Adeyanju claimed that the Obidients preferred to conduct online polls and abuse people on social media.

“The funniest thing we’ll see on social media this month is Obi’s followers screaming rigging when he finishes third in a distant race.

He wrote on his Facebook page, “The time they should have utilized to build infrastructure around the country, they spent it abusing us and setting up online surveys.”
