Alleged Fraud: D’Banj makes fresh revelation after ICPC release
Oladapo Oyebanjo, also known as D’banj, is a well-known artist who has confirmed that the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offenses Commission (ICPC) has released him after more than 72 hours of imprisonment.
The music artist further disclosed through his Instagram post on Friday night that he has nothing to do with fraud and is simply interested in shortening people’s lives.
Thank you to everyone in the world. I was requested to participate in an ICPC investigation. I have given the commission all the information I have, and I have faith in their ability to discover the truth. I don’t deal in fraud; all I do is take lives. Since nothing was observed or discovered on me, I was allowed to leave on self-recognition, God bless you all my people,” he captioned his recent photo.
D’banj was released on supervised probation, according to his attorney Pelumi Olajengbesi, who was unable to confirm whether the ICPC had granted the musician administrative bail.
Additionally, he stated that no evidence of fraudulent behavior was linked to the singer by the ICPC.
Nothing accusatory was discovered on him. When he recognized himself, he was let go. We currently anticipate that Dbanj will receive a letter of clearance from the ICPC because, as we have consistently stated, he is innocent of the accusations made against him, the attorney said.
