AMVCA: Broda Shaggi wins best actor in comedy
Samuel Animashaun Perry, better known by his stage name Broda Shaggi, is a well-known Nigerian actor and comedian who has won the 2023 Africa Magic Viewers Choice Award, or AMVCA, for “Best Actor in a Comedy.”
Shaggi received the award for best actor in a comedy drama, film, or television series for his work in the film “Inside Life.”
In a tweet from April, Broda Shaggi revealed his nomination for the honor.
“Hello, how are you?” he wrote. I’ve received another nomination for Best Actor in a Comedy from the AMVCA. For my parts in SURVIVORS and INSIDE LIFE, I received two nominations in the category.
The comedian won in the same category at the 2022 African Film Awards, according to DAILY POST, while Osas Ighodaro won for “Best Actress in a Drama, Movie, or TV.”
