Ancelotti: Unless they fire me, I’ll be with Real Madrid until 2024
After the World Cup, club football has resumed in full force. Real Madrid won’t play their first official game until a few days from now, on December 29, when they take on Real Valladolid in LaLiga Santander.
The Los Blancos have been working out for a few days under the direction of coach Carlo Ancelotti.
Italian has made it plain that he is committed to Real Madrid in a radio interview with Rai Radio 1’s “Radio Anch’io Sport” program.
He has been closely associated with the open position with the Brazil national team during the past week or two, but it appears he has no plans to leave Real Madrid, at least not before his contract is up in 2024.
World Cup-related musings from Ancelotti
He also discussed the just concluded World Cup, highlighting the outstanding final between Argentina and France.
The coach remarked, “It was a terrific tournament and it finished with a lovely final.”
“Argentina deserved to win and did so for two reasons: one, they have the finest players, and second, they have newcomers like Julian Alvarez and Enzo Fernandez to support this talent.”
Even though he didn’t accomplish anything novel, Lieutenant Scaloni did an outstanding job.
“He simply organized them defensively and placed the players in place.”
