Argentina fan who exposed boobs to celebrate winning the World Cup faces jail time
A female Argentina supporter who was seen ripping off her top in celebration of her country’s triumph over France in the World Cup final is currently facing jail time. When cameras went to the jubilant Argentina supporters after Gonzalo Montiel’s penalty kick gave the South American team the victory, one blonde female fan lowered her top and flashed her boobs in excitement.
Fans were informed that they would have to obey Qatar’s strict, traditional norms before the competition even began. “Visitors (men and women) are required to demonstrate respect for the local culture by avoiding unnecessarily revealing clothes in public,” the Qatar Tourism Authority stated. In general, it is advised that both men and women cover their shoulders and knees.
Women are not permitted to dress in ensembles that reveal their bodies, such as tight clothing, or to display any cleavage in conservative Qatar.
Non-Qatari women are exempt from wearing the abaya, a long, black garment that nearly covers the entire body. However, visitors must make sure their tops cover their shoulders and midriff, and their skirts, dresses, and pants must cover their knees.
