Atletico Madrid sign Nigerian forward OmorodionPublished

Atletico Madrid, a LaLiga team, has confirmed the five-year contract signing of attacker Samuel Omorodion.


Omorodion transferred to the Rojiblancos from Granada, another LaLiga team.

This year, the 19-year-old was promoted to Granada’s first team.


The forward, who was born in Nigeria, scored in Granada’s 3-1 loss to Diego Simeone’s Atletico Madrid team in his first game for the first team last week.

Last season, the teenager had 18 goals for Granada’s second team.
