BREAKING: As a container collapses on automobiles in Lagos, many are presumed dead
A 40-foot container crashed on three vehicles on Thursday at the Cele bus stop on the Oshodi Apapa expressway in Lagos, causing tragedy.
According to Newscrescent, the two other drivers and the passengers of the other two vehicles, as well as the driver of one of the vehicles, a commercial bus, have all been confirmed deceased.
On Thursday afternoon, the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) provided an update on the situation.
“An collision involving a 40-foot container on a commercial bus occurred on the main carriageway of the PM fuelling station, Inward Cele express.
The organization announced via its official Facebook page that “Police Officers from Ilasa division are on the ground doing the necessary and also work is underway for recovery.”
