BREAKING: Gov Abdulrahman reappoints Dr Abdul Jimoh for Second Term as Kwara Poly Rector
Engr. Dr. Abdul Jimoh Muhammed has been reappointed as the Rector of Kwara State Polytechnic for a second term by Kwara State Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRasaq. This ruling honors Dr. Muhammad’s exceptional accomplishments and steadfast commitment to raising the bar for instruction at the polytechnic.
Dr. Muhammad carried out a number of projects during his first term, such as infrastructure development, industry partnerships, and the timely payment of employee salaries. He also made sure the polytechnic was free of cults and kept the campus peaceful.
Alhaji Mas’ud Elelu was replaced as Rector by Dr. Muhammad in 2019. He graduated from Witwatersrand University in South Africa with a doctorate in Metallurgical and Material Science, one of his two degrees. He was the Deputy Rector (Academics) at the Federal Polytechnic Offa in Kwara State before being appointed.
