CAF Confederation Cup: Rivers United to face Algeria’s USMA in quarter-finals

River United’s opponent in the CAF Confederations Cup quarterfinals will be USMA of Algeria.
The first leg which is planned for the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo will be place on Sunday, March 31.
A week later, the decision for the rematch will be made in Algiers.
The goal of Rivers United is to win the CAF Confederation Cup and make history as the first Nigerian team to do it.
Last year, Young Africans of Tanzania eliminated the Port Harcourt club at the same round of the competition.
Dreams FC of Ghana will play Stade Malien of Mali in the other quarterfinal matchup.
Former winners RS Berkane of Morocco will take on Libya’s Abu Salem, while Modern Future and Zamalek will play each other in Egypt.
