Carabao Cup draw sets up Man City vs. Tottenham clash

Ten-time winners Liverpool will visit Brighton, while Premier League winners Manchester City will go to Tottenham Hotspur for their Carabao Cup fourth-round match.

After Arsenal and Liverpool defeated Bolton and West Ham 5-1 at home, respectively, the fourth-round draw was held, revealing the matches that would begin the week of October 28.

The Championship team, who have only won one of their six league games this season, will play Arsenal, who have yet to lose this season, at Preston North End.

The 2023 Carabao Cup winners, Manchester United, will host Leicester City, while in another all-Premier League encounter, Aston Villa will go to Crystal Palace.

There is still one third-round match to be played after flood damage forced the postponement of AFC Wimbledon’s match against Newcastle on Tuesday. The match has been moved to October 1st, with Chelsea being the opponent for the victor in the fourth round.

The remaining matches pit Southampton against Stoke and Brentford against Sheffield Wednesday.
