Chelsea owner Boehly prepares Mbappe move after talks with PSG
According to reports, Chelsea has joined Real Madrid and Liverpool in the fight to recruit Kylian Mbappe from Paris Saint-Germain.
PSG reportedly encouraged Chelsea to pursue Mbappe’s signature after direct negotiations with Blues co-owner Todd Boehly regarding a prospective deal for the forward, according to the Daily Record.
Chelsea is hoping to negotiate a player-plus-cash deal to bring the France international to Stamford Bridge this summer under Boehly’s direction.
Mbappe has yet to agree to a new contract with PSG, thus it is uncertain what his future holds with the Parisians.
Next summer will mark the end of his tenure with the Ligue 1 champions of France.
Mbappe was put up for sale for €250,000,000 (£214,000,000).
