ZETSI Africa President AbdulRazak Jeje Survives Assassination Attempt During NANS Inauguration

Abdulrazak Jeje, the Founder and President of ZETSI Africa, narrowly escaped a brazen assassination attempt during the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) 2024 Executive Inauguration. The incident, captured in a widely circulated video, shocked the nation and underscored the escalating tensions within the student organisation.

According to a press release issued by Oluwayomi Owoseye, Director of Publicity for ZETSI Africa, Mr. Jeje’s survival was attributed to divine intervention. Despite the harrowing ordeal, Mr. Jeje remains resolute in seeking justice and has decided to disengage from all NANS activities.

He stressed that Mr. Jeje has been a dedicated member of the National Association of Nigerian Students since 2009. He initially served as the PRO of NANS Kwara before being elected as Chairman of NANS JCC Kwara for two consecutive terms. During his tenure, he worked tirelessly to create a positive atmosphere within the student body and led various projects to promote unity and advancement among Nigerian students in Kwara State. With a wealth of experience and a history of effective leadership, he is now a respected advisor for numerous youth and student organizations, including NANS.
The assassination attempt has sparked calls for urgent action to restore integrity to NANS, a once-respected student association now plagued by internal strife. As Mr. Jeje recovers from the traumatic experience, the Zetsi Africa family expresses gratitude for the outpouring of support and solidarity from well-wishers.

As investigations into the incident continue, Mr. Jeje’s commitment to combating societal vices through ZETSI Africa remains steadfast, as he focuses on his recovery and future endeavors to serve his country.
