A Press statement delivered by The Coalition Of Progressive Youth Forum (CPYF) in appreciation of the developmental strides of Kwara State Governor, Mallam Abdulrahman Abdulrasaq and the necessity Of Voting for him for second term and other Flag Bearers of our great party, APC in the forthcoming (2023) General Elections.

• Let’s sustain the developmental legacies for the benefits of all and sundry, this also buttress by Comrade Ridwan Abdulwahab Oyekanmi the State Secretary (CPYF).

~ PREAMBLE. The CPYF is an acronym for Coalition of Progressive Youth Forum which is the largest energetic, brilliant, innovative, intellectual and politically inclined youth group in Kwara State with her members spread across the sixteen (16) local governments and one hundred and ninety three (193) wards of Kwara State. The CPYF members have been playing a prominent role in promoting the good image and spreading the progressive news and developmental programmes of the people oriented Governor of Kwara State, Mallam Abdulrahman AbdulRazaq to the people at the grassroots as part of our continuous contributions towards the development of our dear state.

The group also connect, network and synergize with our teeming youths through political engagements, social interactions and empowerment programmes in order to harness their electoral values and increase political participation in governance.

We equally canvass and mobilize electorates for the purpose of ensuring massive electoral victories for the flag bearers of our great Party, APC.

ESSENCE OF THIS PRESS CONFERENCE AND THE NECESSITY OF VOTING, MALLAM ABDULRAHMAN ABDULRAZAQ FOR SECOND TERM AS GOVERNOR OF PROGRESSIVE UNDER THE ALL PROGRESSIVE CONGRESS.

This press conference is very imperative considering the remarkable achievements and laudable empowerment programmes of the APC led government under the people’s centric leadership of Mallam Abdulrahman AbdulRazaq, the executive Governor of Kwara State and the necessity of voting for him for second term to sustain the developmental legacies for the benefits of all and sundry.

Indubitably, the Governor has done exceedingly well in providing good governance in all the sectors of the state.

Some of the achievements in various sectors can be highlighted as follows;

a. Provisions of laudable projects and critical infrastructural developments which has given the
state an enviable facelift and improve socioeconomic activities of the state.

b. Educational Sector.

=Recruitments of qualified and competent teachers in a transparent manner into SUBEB and TESCOM.

= Renovations of schools to provide conducive learning environment for the pupils and students.

=Training and promotion of teachers.

= Implementation of Kwara Leading Education Achievement and Reform Now (KwaraLEARN) to empower teachers to become highly skilled through training and motivation to succeed at work.

=Provisions of high quality learning materials and mobile tablets for our teachers.

= Payments of full salary as at when due and promotion arrears for teachers.

= Provisions of operational vehicles, electronic gadgets and instructional materials for basic schools.

c. Construction garment factory and innovation hub to provide job opportunities for the teeming youths.

d. Recruitments of qualified and competent graduates into the Kwara civil service.

e. Empowerment programmes.

Governor AbdulRazaq’s feat in the statutory establishment of Kwara State Social Investment Programmes to transparently implement the various life touching empowerment for the petty traders, market men and women and young entrepreneurs is highly commendable and has continue to endear him to the good people of Kwara State.

=In the first phase of the scheme, twenty thousand (20,000)petty traders benefitted from a soft loan of ten thousand naira each.

= Kwara State Conditional Cash Transfer.
Under this scheme, Ten thousand aged and vulnerable people benefitted from the monthly stipend of three thousand naira (#3,000) for the period of two years.

= Provisions of loans for young entrepreneurs under the KWARAPRENURE EMPOWERMENT PROGRAMMES. The loans are provided for the young people to start up a business and expand the existing ones for self reliance and become employers of labour.

= Another set of petty traders are currently benefitting from the microcredit scheme of twenty thousand naira each. Under this Programme, 30,000 petty traders are expected to benefits from the interest free loan of #20,000 through out the 193 wards of Kwara State.

APPOINTMENTS OF YOUNG PEOPLE BY THE YOUTH FRIENDLY GOVERNOR, MALLAM ABDULRAHMAN ABDULRAZAQ.

There’s no gainsaying that Governor of Kwara State, Mallam Abdulrahman AbdulRazaq has reactivated the political will and leadership prowess of our young people by the appointments large number of progressive women and youths with fresh initiatives and brilliant ideas into his cabinet. The appointments has nurture and prepare them for future advanced leadership positions.

We can categorically confirmed that youth constituency and women folks are the greatest beneficiaries of this administration as the Governor continues to place premium and positive value on them.

At this juncture, we must sincerely appreciate your Excellency for the appointment of a dynamic Comrade and committed youth advocate Comrade Bello Mubarak Salau as the Special Assistant on students’ matters and other progressive young political appointees who are making us proud in their various political engagements.
But, as Oliver twist, we can always encourage you to do more for us.

KWARA YOUTHS AND THE 2023 GENERAL ELECTIONS.

As we all know, the youths constitute the most Integral part of the entire populace and they are part of the determinant factors of electoral victories due to their numerical strengths.

Conclusively, The Governor has continued to support and empower so many young people to realize their potentials in their various chosen carrier. Despite the dwindling federal allocation, we can sincerely affirmed that the people oriented Governor, Mallam Abdulrahman AbdulRazaq has performed exceedingly well in providing good governance to all and sundry through the prudent management of the state resources and judicious use of funds in a transparent and accountable manner.

His superlative performances in various sectors of the state will definitely guarantee his victory for second term come 2023 general elections. Indeed, Mallam Abdulrahman AbdulRazaq is a humble and Youth friendly leader, silent achiever, team player, people’s servant and a committed democrat. Finally, we passionately appeal to the good of Kwara State not to fall cheaply for the political antics and propaganda of the opposition parties who are only interested grabbing power for their selfish interest and that of their cronies.
