Tuesday, the coroner who is investigating Whitney Adeniran’s 12-year-old death gave the Chrisland school approval to perform an independent analysis of the autopsy on the deceased student’s remains.

The student’s blood and other bodily fluids, a skin sample, the slides used to make the electrocution diagnosis, samples of bone and muscle taken from the deceased, and urine samples gathered for the autopsy are all items that have been requested.
The school also asked for copies of all the histology slides reported as part of the post-mortem examination, all photographs taken during the autopsy, and other documents created during the autopsy, as well as access to the outcomes of all the toxicology tests performed on the deceased student.
On the day of the forensic consultation, the Magistrate directed the chief medical examiner of LASUTH to deliver all the items to the applicant’s pathologist’s lab.
The LASUTH top medical examiner and the parents of the deceased were to oversee the consultation, according to the directive.
On April 17, Whitney’s parents are scheduled to give a witness statement.
