“Others arrested were Tobi James, 30, who buys the stolen phones and waybills them to Lagos, and seven other suspects, with over 60 SIM cards recovered”,the CP recalled.

Furthermore,Ali, who affirmed that a discreet inquiry is underway to bring the criminals to justice, issuing a mandate to all citizens and residents of the state for their help to the security authorities achieve this objectives,adding that the police cannot do it all singlehandedly but with the help of law abiding civilians,we have a greater chance.

Meanwhile,he tasked the general public to supply the command with relevant information that would be helpful in it’s effort to curb all criminal elements across the state, and he emphasizing that the police will professionally keep the identities of all informants confidential.

“You have absolutely nothing to worry about because your identities will be safe with us,all we ask for is relevant and true information and by so doing,there would be no hiding place for those that threaten the peace of the state”,he added.
