Celebrates 5th Anniversary of HE in office, rolls out development strides under his leadership
Kwara state commissioner for solid minerals and development, Dr. Afees Abolore ALABI, joins many numerous well-wishers and friends of Kwara State all over the world to congratulates Kwarans and our highly cerebral Executive Governor, Mallam Abdulrahman AbdulRazaq (CON) and the Chairman of the Nigeria Governors Forum, on first year, second tenure and a whopping hearty five (5) productive years in office.
Dr. Alabi observed that under Mallam Abdulrahman AbdulRazaq’s astute leadership, His amazing administration has been providing a rare platform and pedestals for Kwarans to have a prosperous future in virtually all the sectors. Today, Kwara has joined the few leagues of States in Nigeria being considered among the first to witness positive developments coming from the centre.
ALABI said We are overjoyed to have made major developmental progress throughout the last five years under Governor AbdulRazaq’s inspiring leadership. It has been an amazing trip and indeed, His Excellency remains a rare gift and a blessing to this generation and those coming behind. This is evident and not a fluke.
Governor AbdulRazaq has displayed capacity, resilience and uncommon commitments towards enhancing the quality of lives of the people of Kwara and HE’s love for the state has never wavered in ensuring all-inclusive developments leading to incredible advancements in the areas of massive infrastructure, Social Healthcare, Agriculture, Education & Human Capital Development, Water resources, Social Investment Safety Programmes, amazing Ilorin Master Plan and Ilorin Future and Sustainable City and all HE’s efforts at removing Kwara from the list of civil service depending states to an industrial hub of the nation via the legacy projects of His administration.
We are pleased to announce that our state has been witnessing a number of unprecedented positive growth and developments presenting great business environment and making sure that all indices to making ease of doing business are constantly put to check. We thank and appreciate the Governor for all the uncommon giant strides thereby making those accomplishments possible and realisable.

On a more lighthearted note, under the watch of His Excellency, obvious significant progress has been made in eliminating gender inequality through the instruments of the Law. He has encouraged women to hold important positions in his administration, a move that has garnered widespread praise, and he has welcomed youth involvement in His administration. The Honourable Commissioner, Solid Minerals Development has expressed during the interview he granted yesterday at the Youth Conference held at Peace Hotel yesterday, May the 28th 2024.
