Gani Adams Asks Governors To Give Them Permission To Confront The Gunmen On Lagos-Ibadan Expressway

Iba Gani Abiodun Adams, the Aare Ona Kakanfo of Yorubaland has asked governors to permit them to confront the gunmen attacking travelers on the Lagos-Ibadan expressway. According to him, the activities of the gunmen are something shameful and heartbreaking.

He revealed that they have written letters to the governors of Lagos, Ogun, and Oyo states to allow the OPC members to work together with security operatives to solve the issue of insecurity in the area.

According to Gani Adams, if the governors had listened to advice and agreed to work with the Oodua People’s Congress at that time, it would be difficult for the criminals to operate. He said that the Oodua People’s Congress is willing to work with Amotekun and other organizations to save the lives and property of citizens and travelers who use the Lagos to Ibadan highway.

He revealed that some of their children who are OPC members have tried to act, but the police prosecuted them as criminals. He also called on the governors to act swiftly to solve the problem at hand.
