Gov’ AbdulRazaq Swears-In Dr Abolore As New Commissioner for Solid Minerals
Kwara State Governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, has bolstered his cabinet with the appointment of Dr. Alabi Afeez Abolore as the new Commissioner for Solid Minerals. The swearing-in ceremony, held in Ilorin on Monday, marked a shift for Engr. AbdulQuawiy Olododo, who previously held the position while simultaneously serving as the Commissioner for Works and Transport. Engr. Olododo will now focus solely on the latter ministry.
Dr. Abolore, a native of Iponrin in Ilorin East Local Government, returns to the Kwara State government after previously serving as the Commissioner for Tertiary Education until May 29th, 2023.
Governor AbdulRazaq, in his address at the ceremony, highlighted Dr. Abolore’s proven track record, commitment to public service, and strong interpersonal skills – qualities essential for success in his new role as a technocrat and politician. He emphasized the administration’s unwavering goal of leaving a lasting positive impact on Kwara State.
“We have made significant progress across the state,” the Governor declared, “and you are joining the cabinet to contribute your expertise and build upon the achievements so far realized. Teamwork, due diligence, hard work, patriotism, and prudence are paramount to achieving greater efficiency and results in this critical role. I have full faith in your ability to excel once again.”
