Heroin May Be Distributed At Tinubu’s Campaign Flag-off – Omokri

Reno Omokri, an ex-aide to former President Goodluck Jonathan has mocked the Presidential candidate of the ruling All Progressives Congress Bola Tinubu in the wake of his links to a shady drug deal.

Omokri had continued to drag on social media Tinubu since the resurfacing of a court document confirming his guilt in a drug trafficking and money laundering charge brought against him in 1993.

He  advised the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency NDLEA to station men at the site of Tinubu’s presidential campaign flag-off ceremony in Jos, warning that ‘white heroin may be distributed to attendees.’

“As you may be aware, Bola Tinubu, Presidential candidate of the APC, is kicking off his campaign today in Jos. Giving his history, you may want to station men at that event. It is not impossible that white heroin may be distributed to attendees!” Omokri wrote.

The former president’s aide wondered why embattled police officer Abba Kyari was in jail for drug trafficking while Tinubu who is culpable for a similar offense was a free man, even contesting for the country’s most prestigious political position.

“What is the difference between Abba Kyari and Bola Tinubu? Their crimes are exactly the same. They both collected money from drug cartels and kept it in their accounts. So, why is Abba Kyari in jail, while Tinubu is running to be President? Think Nigerians, think!” he added.

The US court in the district of Illinois, eastern division, stated in court documents made public on August 10, 2022 that Tinubu and his associates engaged in narcotics trafficking “on a wide scale and the operations were substantial.”

Tinubu had asserted that he gained his riches by working as a consultant for Deloitte & Touche, refuting claims that he was a drug dealer. However, Deloitte denied Tinubu’s alleged employment experience with the company, stating that the presidential aspirant has no prior employment history with the company.
