He gave the new Service Chiefs his word that the government will support them in their duties.

The President emphasized the importance of characteristics like cooperation, solidarity, and selfless service to the country, saying that despite the country’s current economic difficulties, a better future lies ahead for Nigeria.

In addition, the President asked every soldier to see the military as a one family, despite differences.

He added that he is working very hard to find solutions to the current economic issues that Nigerians are facing while also stressing the value of honest service to the country, which he said everyone in government, including the service chiefs, must embrace.

The President declared, “We are committed to serving you, not to ruling over you.”

General Musa spoke on behalf of the Service Chiefs and reaffirmed their unwavering dedication to upholding the security and defense of the country in their various roles.

Our appointment is an obvious sign of the faith people have in us and their appreciation of our modest ability to serve our beloved country. We promise to perform our obligations with the utmost commitment and loyalty.

“The Nigerian Armed Forces are wholly loyal to the government, I tell you, Mr. President. Whether by air, sea, or land, we will go wherever we are directed.

We’ll make sure Nigeria is presented favorably. May God bless Nigeria and direct the Armed Forces as we work to protect the territorial integrity of our country and make sure that peace and security rule supreme, he prayed.

Senior government officials, members of the close families of the Service Chiefs, and other leaders of the nation’s security and intelligence agencies attended the event, along with Vice President Kashim Shettima, Senator George Akume, Chief of Staff to the President, Femi Gbajabiamila, and Malam Nuhu Ribabu.
