I joined AC Milan to win trophies – Chukwueze

According to Samuel Chukwueze, he joined Serie A powerhouse AC Milan in order to win championships.
The 24-year-old left LaLiga club Villarreal after five years to join AC Milan last month.
Villarreal’s demand that AC Milan fulfill Chukwueze’s €35 million release clause prolonged the negotiations.
When the two teams finally came to a deal, the Rosseneri agreed to pay the winger’s agent €28 million plus add-ons.
In Milan’s victory against Monza on Tuesday night in their friendly match, Chukwueze made his unofficial debut.
On Wednesday, the Nigeria was presented to the club’s supporters in an official capacity.
“I’m eager to get going. Meeting Inter and Juventus, we can definitely defeat them because I believe we have the team to defeat anyone in Serie A.
I’m here to win trophies; I didn’t come to watch or to make money. My job is to play football and leave my mark on Milan’s history so that future generations will remember me. I want to establish a name for Milan and myself. I can’t possibly come here and lose. Winning something—the Scudetto, the Champions League, the Coppa Italia—is my first priority.
