IEDPU mourns 11th Balogun Gambari of Ilorin, condoles Emir, family

Ilorin Emirate Descendants Progressive Union (IEDPU) has described the death of the 11th Balogun Gambari of Ilorin, Alhaji Abdulkareem Laaro Buhari, as a great loss.

The National President of the Union, Alhaji Abdulmumini Ayo Abdulmalik, stated this when he led a delegation of the Union on a condolence visit to the family of the deceased at his residence.

The President, who also visited the Balogun Gambari and Balogun Agba of Ilorin, Alhaji Aliyu Adebayo Mohammed, described the late Balogun Gambari of ilorin Alhaji Abdulkareem Laaro Buhari as a philanthropist, community leader and statesman who contributed his quota to the socioeconomic progress of Ilorin Emirate and Kwara State during his life.

Alhaji Abdulmalik condoled the Emir of Ilorin, Alhaji (Dr) Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, CFR, on the demise of late Balogun Gambari Alhaji Abdulkareem Laaro Buhari

He also sympathised with the Balogun Gambari chieftaincy family as well as the entire people of Gambari traditional political constituency on the death of Alhaji Abdulkareem Laaro Buhari as he prayed Allah to forgive his shortcomings and reward his good deeds with Aljana fridaouz.
