IGP orders deployment of 7 CPs to states, formations
Seven Commissioners of Police (CPs) have been dispatched by the Inspector-General of Police (IGP), Mr. Usman Baba, to various police commands in states and formations across the nation.
This information was released in a statement on Friday in Abuja by CSP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, the Force Public Relations Officer.
He claimed that the deployment came after certain senior officers recently completed the Senior Executive Course 44 at the National Institute of Policy and Strategic Studies (NIPSS).
Sadiq Abubakar, FCT; Frank Mba, Border Patrol, Force Headquarters; and Arungwa Udo, Department of Finance and Account (DFA), Force Intelligence Bureau, Force Headquarters are the newly deployed CP, according to Adejobi.
He mentioned Suleiman Yusuf, Admin, Research and Planning, Force Headquarters, and Bardaru Lawal, General Investigations, Force Criminal Investigations Department Annex, Kaduna.
Adejobi stated that Babaji Sunday, Commandant, Police College Maiduguri, and Ebong Ebong, Admin DFA, Force Headquarters, were also deployed.
He claimed that the IGP had instructed the recently assigned cops to get started right away in the areas of safety, public collaboration, and crime-fighting.
According to Adejobi, in order for the new police helmsmen to effectively carry out their duties, the police chief also appealed for the public’s support and collaboration.
