Kwara United’s recently unveiled center forward, Ismail Gata, has indicated that his return to the club is driven by the aspiration to contribute towards its continental ambitions.

Among the thirty-five talented players introduced by the club’s management on Thursday to strengthen the team for the upcoming league season, Ismail Gata stands out.

“I have returned to Kwara United for a second time with the intention of enhancing the club and leveraging my extensive professional experience as we gear up for the challenges ahead.

” Having previously been part of this setup, I see this as another opportunity to showcase my capabilities,”he remarked.

Expressing optimism, he stated, “With the team possessing the right mindset and a roster of quality players, the goal of competing at the continental level is within reach.”

Kwara United is set to face Niger Tornadoes of Minna in the opening match of the NPFL on September 7th at the Kwara State Stadium.
