I’m still available to play for Super Eagles – Ighalo

He is still available to play for the Super Eagles, according to Odion Ighalo.

After the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt, Ighalo decided to retire from international football.

The forward led the field in scoring, which helped the Super Eagles finish third.

After changing his mind, the 34-year-old was selected for the Super Eagles for the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations, but his former Saudi club, Al Shabab, forbade him from competing.

The striker, though, is not completely ruling out the prospect of joining the team again.

Ighalo told Elegbete TV, “I do not think about the national team chats for the time being.

You can never say ‘never’ since the last time I declared my retirement, it felt premature.
