Independence Day: FG declares Oct. 2 public holiday

Dr. Oluwatoyin Akinlade, the Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Interior, claimed that Dr. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, the Minister of Interior, made the announcement in Abuja on behalf of the federal government.

Dr. Tunji-Ojo promised Nigerians that the administration would continue to work hard to address the problems the nation was now facing.

Today, it is well acknowledged that there are serious socioeconomic and security difficulties all over the world, and Nigeria is not an island.

The minister claimed that the administration is working tirelessly to meet these issues with all of its resources.

She emphasized that if Nigerians come together as one, they may achieve Nigeria’s preeminent position in the community of nations and the glory that lies ahead for the nation.

Nigeria is unquestionably the leading black nation in the world, Africa’s pride, and a beacon of hope for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR’s Renewed Hope because of our warm welcoming spirit, love, and abundance of land, she stated.
