Integrity is success, Rukayat Shittu declares, Hail parents for giving her early education

Integrity is success

I was born on the 6th of June, 1996 in Alapa, Asa local Govt Area, Kwara State

Doctors at Alapa Health Center attended to my lovely mother, who held me tight in her hand with joy.

Being a village girl, from the generation of pious people, integrity is inherent in us, as passed down to us from our religious parents.

In Mayan, my village, life over there is still a replica of the good old days in Nigeria, where traders keep their goods on the roadside without anyone stealing them.

Even though the seller is not there, nobody will pick up any item from the goods without dropping the cash and nobody, except the seller would pick up the money.

To our people in Manyan, integrity is a success, and under no circumstance, will I indulge in any act, capable of misrepresenting the good name of my parents and the good reputation of our forefathers.

Being the daughter of an accountant/teacher father, going to school early is not strange.

My father is one of the few individuals who insisted on going to school in our village and as his children, he was determined to get us started early.

The result of our early start is what we are reaping today and I must give kudos to my beloved dad for his sacrifices and vision.

The public should therefore disregard any insinuation from any quarters.
