Inter Milan forward willing to join Pochettino at Chelsea
Lautaro Martinez, who won the 2022 FIFA World Cup, apparently wants to play for Chelsea under Mauricio Pochettino.
Martinez is eager to collaborate with his fellow Argentine at Chelsea, according to Football Insider.
The Inter Milan striker is reportedly a favorite of Pochettino because of his pushing style, which is ideal for Pochettino’s system.
After Kai Havertz joined Arsenal, Chelsea are eager to add a new striker for Pochettino this summer’s transfer window, and Romelu Lakaku is eager to move permanently from the Blues to Inter.Martinez, meanwhile, played in 57 appearances for Inter Milan last season across all competitions and contributed 11 assists in addition to 28 goals.
The 25-year-old’s contract with Inter Milan expires in three years, and according to Transfermarkt, he is worth €85 million.
