Isalekoko residents call for Government’s intervention on Asa river
FLASH: Flood erupt at ASA River in IsalekokoResident of isalekoko ojagboro Ilorin in panic mood as flood erupt again at ASA River for eight consecutive years. The flood erupt in the midnight around 1:00am which led the resident flee their home.
According to residents living around the place Oseni Abdulsalam plead to federal government and state government for urgent intervention on the river.
He stated that this is the eight consecutive years he is witnessing the flood at his house whenever the flood erupt he flee home till dry season when the water will left their area.
Federal government have sent National emergency management agency NEMA to the place on several occasions but all the effort prove abortive he urge our representative to put pressure on federal government to help them out.
