JAMB Releases 2024 UTME Results, Flags 64,624 for Investigation

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) announced the release of the 2024 UTME results. While over 1.8 million results were released, Prof. Ishaq Oloyede, JAMB Registrar, revealed that 64,624 scores are being withheld for investigation.
Out of the 1.9 million candidates who took the exam, 80,810 were absent. JAMB is currently examining these withheld results for various reasons including verification, procedural issues, center-based irregularities, and suspected cheating.
JAMB conducts the UTME in nine international centers to promote Nigerian institutions and foster academic diversity. These centers are located in Abidjan (Ivory Coast), Addis Ababa (Ethiopia), Buea (Cameroon), Cotonou (Benin), London (UK), Jeddah (Saudi Arabia), and Johannesburg (South Africa).
