JUST IN: Betta Edu arrives EFCC office

Betta Edu, the Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation who was suspended, has arrived at the headquarters of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission.
The EFCC invited Edu because to allegations of N585 million in theft inside her ministry.
President Bola Tinubu suspended her on Monday due to the purported transfer of N585 million from a humanitarian fund intended to support needy populations in the states of Ogun, Lagos, Akwa Ibom, and Cross River into a private account.
Since members of the Federal Executive Council took office in August of last year, Edu is the first minister to be suspended from their position.
According to news reports, President Bola Tinubu dismissed Edu due to public outrage over the purported N585 million scam.
