Kwara central Senator, Saliu Mustapha Presents Full Scholarship To 200 Tertiary Institution Students

Mallam Saliu Mustapha, the senator for Kwara South, publicly awarded 200 youngsters full scholarships to higher education institutions on Friday in an effort to assist indigenous parents.
Speaking during the scholarship’s inauguration at Peace Hall, Ilorin said that the recipients were selected from four Kwara Central local government districts.
He stated that some recipients’ tuition has already been paid and that the scholarship will cover students from their first to their last year.
In his own words: “The finest way to empower a person is via education. By doing this, you not only lessen social vices but also fortify and elevate your community. It is a pleasure to be among you today.

“This is my first time meeting these 200 students. I’m investing in them because I think that education is important. They have no affiliation with any political party; their sole objective is to succeed in life, and we have already started guiding them in that direction.
“With luck, we will offer JAMB, NECO, and WAEC scholarships to a new group of students by 2025. I strongly advise parents and guardians to motivate their children to work hard in school in order for them to achieve.
Prof. Shuaib Oba Abdulraheem, the event’s chairman, praised Senator Mustapha for using the scholarship to invest in the future of the recipients.

The plan will lessen parents’ financial burden, according to the former vice chancellor of the University of Ilorin. In return, he urged the students to make the senator proud of their academic achievements.
The occasion was attended by the Chief Imam of Ilorin, Dr. Muhammad Bashir Solihu, Rtd ACG AbdulMalik Abdulmumin, the National President of the Ilorin Emirate Development Progressive Union (IEDPU), and other dignitaries.
