Kwara Commissioner for finance empowers 200, prayers session for Gov AbdulRahman AbdulRasaq at Oke-Ero

On the 27 of August, a tremendous empowerment was held at Kwara State where money in cash was doll out to 200 women beneficiaries at Oke-ero local government sectariant Iloffa.

Hon. Mrs Florence Olasumbo Oyeyemi, Commissioner for Finance kwara State, was graced the hands of less privileged in her constituency, Oke-ero local government. As She sponsored One day Special prayers for the successful Re-election of HE Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq for Second term, not alone the organization of prayers but also powered a Mini Empowerment program, where she doll out cash to the 200 women across the local government Oke-Ero Iloffa.

The empowerments were stretching to the petty Traders who are one way or the other facing challenges in their various businesses and they found it excited to be part of the beneficiaries of 2022 scheme.

According to one of the beneficiaries, Mrs Ayoola Omoniyi expressed that ” I am so privileged to be selected for this bountiful empowerment to stare my petty business which had been ratty for years while Honourable Commissioner has been skyrocketed it again”. She further appreciated the HE Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq for the utmost contributions by strengthen his good Governance to the Oke-ero local government.

The prayers session was led by Local government’s CAN, Reverend Andrew Oyekan Aremu and the Chief Imam of Oke-ero, Alhaji Babatunde Sulyman, where they were joined by the audience to pray for the successful Re-election of HE Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq for Second term and as well beseech God for the conducive atmosphere not only for the Oke-ero local government but also Kwara State at large.

However, the commissioner proclaimed the empowerments as the means to support the good works of kwara State Government and as a quintessential leader who understands the plights of well-meaning people of Oke-ero especially for the women across the constituency.

A remarkable speech was held by HE Deputy Governor Elder Kayode Alabi who was appreciated the large turn out of the people and encouraged them to continue pledge their support and votes for this government for another term by rejoicing together coming 2023.

Consequently, the program was embraced
by many dignitaries, in attendance: Kwara State APC Chairman Prince Sunday Fagbemi, Lawmaker National Assembly Hon. Olawuyi Ajuloopin, State Assembly Hon. Abolarin, SA Rural Mobilization, Comrade Musbahudeen Esinrogunjo, SUBEB Chairman, Prof. Sheu AbdulRaheem Adaramaja.
