Labour Party Now A Branch Of PDP – SDP’s Adewole

Adebayo Adewole, the Social Democratic Party’s (PDP) nominee for president, claims that the Labour Party (LP) and the People’s Democratic Party are comparable (PDP).

On Thursday, he said that during Sunrise Daily on Channels Television.

He noted that his party had previously advocated for a merger with the LP and other parties and said, “Labour Party is now a branch of the PDP.”

In reference to the LP, which is led by former PDP vice presidential candidate Peter Obi, Adewole said, “We intended to unite with the PRP and Labour Party when it was Labour Party.”

If his party is elected to power, the SDP presidential candidate also pledged to eradicate poverty.

He claimed that poverty, which he connected to hunger and a lack of fundamental needs, could be eradicated within two budgets.

“What causes poverty? Because they don’t have billions in their bank accounts, people are not destitute. People are poor because they can’t have nice food or any food at all when they wake up, the presidential candidate claimed.

They lack access to quality housing, healthcare, and education. Which of these parts cannot be obtained in two years, please?
