Ministerial Screening: You won’t regret nominating me – Wike tells Tinubu
Nyesom Wike, the incoming minister, has guaranteed President Bola Tinubu of his loyalty should he be elected to the Senate.
If confirmed, Wike claimed Tinubu wouldn’t have regretted appointing him as a minister.
On Monday, he revealed this at his ministerial screening on the Senate floor.
While serving as a minister, the former governor of Rivers State also bragged about the development of infrastructure.
In four years, I built 12 flyovers, which Julius Berger completed, claims Wike.
“During my second term, I never left my state, and as I was leaving, women pulled out their candy wrappers to congratulate me on a job well done.
“If I’m confirmed, Mr. President won’t regret nominating me,” I said.
