New Leadership for Housing Agencies As Tinubu Appoints CEOs for FHA, FMBN

President Bola Tinubu has announced changes to the leadership of two key housing agencies, aiming to enhance their efficiency and service delivery.

FMBN: Shehu Osodi takes the helm as the new Managing Director, spearheading the Federal Mortgage Bank of Nigeria. Supporting him are Ibidapo Odojukan as Executive Director of Finance & Corporate Services, Muhammad Abdu as Executive Director of Loans & Mortgage Services, and Chinenye Anosike as Executive Director of Business Development & Portfolios.

FHA: Hon Oyetunde Ojo assumes the role of Managing Director for the Federal Housing Authority. Joining him are Mathias Byuan as Executive Director of Housing Finance & Accounts, Umar Abdullahi as Executive Director of Business Development, Oluremi Omowaiye as Executive Director of Project Implementation, and Ezekiel Nya-Etok as Executive Director of Estate Services.

These new appointments signal a fresh chapter for both agencies, tasked with addressing Nigeria’s housing challenges. Whether these individuals can deliver on the President’s vision and effectively tackle issues like affordability, accessibility, and infrastructure development remains to be seen.

Time will tell if this change in leadership significantly impacts the nation’s housing landscape.
