Newly appointed Technical Assistants, (Grassroot Empowerment) Ilorin East LGA visits/presents their Appointment letters to Dr. Afees Abolore ALABI at his Ilorin residence

I received in audience the newly appointed Technical Assistants (Grassroots Empowerment) from Ilorin East Local Government of Kwara State at my Ilorin residence on Tuesday, 2nd January, 2024. The essence of their visit was to present their letters of appointments and to further appreciate/pray for His Excellency Mallam Abdulrahman AbdulRazaq, the Executive Governor of Kwara State.

The highlights of the said visits was the appreciation and prayers offered in favour of His Excellency, Mallam Abdurahman Abdulrazaq (CON) for the great works the Governor is embarking upon which are futuristic in nature and for taking the art and science of politics to the base of individual communities/the grassroots.

The warm reception accorded the new aides of the Governor also covers an all-important lectures/advice given by my humble self where the appointees were charged to see themselves as the eyes/representatives of the Governor at their respective wards.

I further chaged the appointees that beyond the empowerment and other laudable dividends of democracy that are meant for people at the grassroots, I also advised them to always reporting all activities, reforms, projects and programmes of the Government to every nooks and cranies of the appointees’ wards.

Finally, I counselled the appointees to continue to firmly uphold the legacies of the Governor and ensure advancement of same now and in the future.
