NNON Brings “Pad a Girl” Initiative to Kwara State

The New Nigeria Or Nothing Nigeria (NNON), a non-profit organization dedicated to national development, is expanding its reach by bringing its advocacy efforts to Kwara State. Hon. Daniel Mo-Ayanda, the founder and convener of NNON, announced this initiative during a press briefing in Ilorin, the state capital.

Established in Oyo State in 2018, NNON aims to re-orientate Nigerians towards active participation in nation-building. Mo-Ayanda, a Kwara indigene himself, emphasized the organization’s commitment to impacting lives positively across the country.

As part of this expansion, NNON is partnering with the HGC Initiative to organize a “Pad a Girl” summit on July 12th. This program focuses on menstrual hygiene education, a crucial yet often overlooked aspect of girls’ health and well-being.

“We are currently conducting market outreach to raise awareness about the ‘Pad a Girl’ initiative,” Mo-Ayanda explained. “The program itself will not only provide valuable education but also offer free tailoring services and barbering for male attendees.”

NNON’s core philosophy, embodied in its motto “Building a Nigeria where everybody cares about somebody,” encourages a sense of community and shared responsibility. Mo-Ayanda urged Nigerians to embrace this ideology, believing it to be a cornerstone for creating a better nation.

The arrival of NNON in Kwara State signifies a welcome focus on menstrual hygiene education and broader societal well-being. The “Pad a Girl” summit, coupled with their commitment to community engagement, has the potential to make a positive impact in the lives of many.
