Offensive Video: Davido’s manager apologise to Muslim community

Israel Afeare, a socialist and the logistics manager for Davido, also known as Israel DMW, has expressed regret to the Muslim community for the contentious video that the singer posted on social media.


According to Newscrescent media, Davido received harsh criticism for posting the music video for his signee, Logos Olori’s new single, “Jaye Lo,” which featured dancing and Islamic-styled prayer.

Davido removed the contentious video from his social media platforms as a result of the outrage.


The Muslim community, meanwhile, continues to call for Davido to provide a formal apology.

Israel DMW expressed his regrets on behalf of his boss in a message on his Instagram story.

Israel claimed that the film was just an attempt at amusement that was misrepresented.
