Owo Isowo is anti-poverty scheme to provide succor in 16 LGAs -Rukayat Shittu
Commends Governor AbdulRazaq for always putting women first
The All Progressives Congress candidate for Owode Onire constituency, Rukayat Motunrayo Shittu has advised the first batch of the Kwara State Social Investment Programme (KWASSIP)’s popular Owo Isowo Initiative on a judicious way to use the money.
Speaking at the disbursement ground in Alapa, Asa local government area of the State, Rukayat said the main motive behind the money is to provide support and succor to female petty traders across the 16 local government areas.
“The money is meant for your respective businesses and we can only use the money for our business to justify its usage,” she said.
She commended Governor AbdulRahman for always considering womenfolks in Kwara State, stressing that the gesture is tenable.
Speaking further, she lauded the KWASSIP’s Chairman, Abdulquawiy Olododo for implementing and coordinating the project.
The program, Owo Isowo, is one of the anti-poverty measures of Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq.
