Peter Obi replies APC Presidential Candidate, Bola Ahmed Tinubu

According to Peter Obi, the presidential candidate for the Labour Party, Nigeria’s money is safer in the hands of a thrifty guy who will save and invest it for the future and who will invest it in the needs of the populace such as health care, education, and other necessities.
In Asaba on Tuesday, Obi spoke to a mob of fans and said, “I know you heard when they said Peter is stingy. We want to invest in our people with our money.
“Character and people we can trust are key issues in this election. The schools I attended are well known to everyone. Everyone knows what I done and the projects I oversaw while serving as the governor of Anambra. When I left the administration, everyone knew where I lived; please visit and confirm.
He proclaimed to the gathering that it was finally time to usher in a new era and reclaim Nigeria.
“If you divide my age by two and Dati’s (my vice) age, we are in our 50s,” he declared. The others, though, are in their 70s. You are conscious of the retirement age. PDP and APC chairmen are both 70 years old, whereas the Labour Party chairperson is 52. And now it’s our turn. They will receive retirement benefits and compensation.
“It’s the reason I told you our average age, not this other folks we don’t know their age, we don’t know where they were born, we don’t know the schools they went,” he said, repeating his earlier pledge that his government will be one for women and young people if elected.
Obi pledged to finish the East-West Road, which has been ongoing for 24 years, and to reopen the Warri Port.
“Do you know how to recognise the losers?” vice presidential candidate Yusuf Datti Baba-Ahmad asked the gathering. They have broken commitments they’ve made for 24 years, 16 years, and 8 years, respectively.
They will hide behind and discuss structure rather than face Peter Obi and myself and talk about security. the framework they employed to destroy Nigeria and maintain our current situation.
Julius Abure, the party’s national chairman, claimed that everything in the country is broken, in danger, and in a comatose state.
“This is the only chance we have to alter the narrative of this nation,” he declared. No, I wouldn’t have backed Peter Obi if he were standing for office in the Labour Party if I had been a member of the PDP. He has what it takes to transform the nation, and I say this because of that.
