Photo Of Man Who Allegedly Beat His Wife To Death After He Wanted To Take Ownership Of Her School

The Ogun state Police command have recently arrested a 45 years old suspect who allegedly beat his wife to death because she refused to let him take ownership of the school she built.

According to the information shared by the Ogun state police command, the suspect whose name is given as Segun Omotosho Ebenezer was said to have allegedly beaten his wife, 42 years old Omotosho Bukola to death after they continuously had quarrels over the ownership of the school built by his wife.

The Police revealed that the suspect was arrested after the family members of the deceased reported the incident at Kemta divisional headquarters on the 14th of November 2022.

The elder sister of the deceased was said to have told the Police that the suspect allegedly beat and injured her sister after which he rushed her to Federal Medical Centre, in Idi-Aba Abeokuta, where she gave up the ghost while receiving treatment.

The deceased, before her death, was said to have sent a voice note to her family members in which she informed them that her husband had allegedly used a padlock to hit her on the head while beating her. The deceased was said to have told her family that if she died, they should know that it was her husband that killed her.

The suspect, however, was said to have fled after he got to know about the voice note his wife sent to her family. He was said to have been eventually traced to Akinseku village in Abeokuta where he was hiding where he was arrested.
