Police Launch Manhunt For Yoruba Nation Agitators After An Attack On Military Men

An incident which occured on thursday around Oju-Ore axis of Ado-Odo Local Government Area of Ogun State revealed how some Yoruba agitators attacked soldiers and carted away a rifle. The incident had pushed Ogun State Police Command to launch a manhunt for them.

Abimbola Oyeyemi, the State Police Public Officer stated that the command has begun investigation into the situation, he made it known that those perpetrators will not go unpunished, in addition he noted that no arrest had been made over the ugly incident.

It was recalled earlier that the incident which occured on Thursday in Oju-Ore area of Ado-Odo Local Government Area was testify by a source, who revealed that the agitators holding a rally around Oju Ore allegedly attacked and disarmed some military men in their vehicle.

The State Police Public Officer, Oyeyemi, in his statement added that the the police are working in collaboration the Nigerian Army to get to the root of the matter.
