Poor officiating responsible for Enyimba’s defeat to Kwara United – Yemi

Yemi Olanrewaju, the assistant coach of Enyimba, has expressed dissatisfaction with the officiating during the team’s 2-1 loss against Kwara United.
Yemi scowled at the match official’s unfair advantage of the Harmony Boys.
Nonetheless, he gave both teams credit for their outstanding football artistry during the match.
The youthful strategist received a red card during the match, along with Desmond Ojietefian and Chigozie Chilekwu.
Kwara United’s Emmanuel Ogbole scored a brace.
Ikenne Cooper hit the mark for the reigning winners.
At a press conference, he declared, “I won’t blame my players for the defeat; the first half was good but the second half was something else.”
“The entire second half of the game—in which we received nine yellow cards and three red cards, including mine—was ruined by the referee.
“I just wanted to know why there was such an abrupt change in the second half. He gave me a second yellow card, which immediately turned into a red one, and he also showed two of my players a red card. It’s absurd.”
The first half met the expected level of excellence.
“But we have to move on to the next game against Kano Pillars; the game against Kwara United is over.”
