President Tinubu Appoints Gov’ AbdulRazaq Top Ally, Ghali Muhammad Into NNPC Board

The governor of Kwara State’s closest supporter, Dr. Ghali Muhammad, has been appointed to the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited’s (NNPCL) new board and management team. The Special Advisor to the President on Media & Publicity, Ajuri Ngelale, announced this appointment, which will take effect on December 1, 2023.
Chief Pius Akinyelure, the Non-Executive Board Chairman, Mallam Mele Kolo Kyari, the Group Chief Executive Officer, and Mr. David Ogbodo, Ms. Eunice Thomas, Prof. Mustapha Aliyu, Mr. Ledum Mitee, Mr. Musa Tumsa, Mr. Ghali Muhammad, and Alhaji Umar Isa Ajiya are among the other individuals appointed.
Furthermore, the nomination of Mr. Okokon Ekanem Udo to the Federal Ministry of Finance and Amb. Gabriel Aduda to the Federal Ministry of Petroleum Resources has been authorized by President Tinubu.
With an emphasis on energy policies that make use of the nation’s current oil and gas resources while encouraging the search for cleaner energy sources in the future, President Tinubu highlights his commitment to a performance-based and results-oriented agenda.
