Rukayat Shittu receives royal blessing, as Emir of Ilorin pray for her victory
The campaign of youngest APC candidate, Rukayat Shittu got a major boost during the week, as the revered Emir of Ilorin, Alhaji Ibrahim Sulu Gambari endorsed her candidature.
The Emir of Ilorin, Alhaji Ibrahim Sulu Gambari endorsed the youngest APC candidate for Kwara State House of Assembly, Rukayat Shittu at the emir’s palace.
The traditional ruler also showered prayers on the Owode Onire candidate, who joined the entourage of Turaki Ngeri, Kwara Central Senatorial candidate, Mallam Soliu Mustapha during a courtesy visit to the emir’s palace during the week.
Rukayat Shittu had joined other candidates of the ruling party at the Ilorin international airport to welcome Mallam Soliu Mustapha to Ilorin, from where they all head straight to the emir’s palace.
At the emir’s palace, the APC Senatorial candidate of Kwara Central, Mallam Soliu Mustapha introduced the youngest candidate of the APC to the revered traditional ruler and he endorsed her candidature, praying that the almighty Allah will grant her victory.
Rukayat Shittu is the candidate of ruling All Progressive Congress (APC) for the Kwara State House of Assembly in Owode Onire constituency of Asa Local Government Area, Kwara State.
