Seun Kuti breaks silence after his release from prison
Seun Kuti, an award-winning afrobeat musician who was recently released from police custody, has made his voice heard for the first time.
The singer was granted bail on Tuesday after being arrested at the State Criminal, Investigations and Intelligence Department, SCIID, Yaba, Lagos, as per a Yaba Chief Magistrate Court’s order for assaulting a police officer.
Shortly after being freed, Kuti thanked everyone who had supported him throughout his ordeal on his Instagram story.
“I want to say a profound thanks to everyone who showed me all this love,” he stated in his letter. all of my buddies who came! Special thanks to my stunning wife @chefyeidekuti
