SHOCKING: Nigeria Player Slumps, dies in Jos

According to Newscrescent reports, the Player slouched after complaining of a terrible headache.
Chinedu Udechukwu, a former striker for Nasarawa United, Sunshine Stars, and Enyimba, has reportedly passed away.

On Wednesday, the striker reported having a bad headache before passing away in Jos.
Nasarawa United of the Nigerian Professional Football League’s Sunshine Stars have expressed their sorrow over the passing of a former member of their team.

Prior to the completion of the previous season, Chinedu’s contract with Nasarawa United in the NPFL ended.
In the middle of 2019–20, he moved from Sunshine Stars to Nasarawa United.

Sunshine Stars’ head of media, Chris Okunnuwa, released a statement in which he expressed the club’s grief at the player’s passing.

The statement said, in part: “Our sympathies are currently with the late player’s family and friends. We ask God to give them the strength to endure this unrecoverable loss. Good night, Edu.”

In a statement from their media officer, Eche Amos, Nasarawa United described the prospect as a potential with big dreams.

The player is a strength in Nigerian football, he continued.

“Edu, as he was affectionately known, was a young man with big dreams and a lot of life. He also played for teams like Sunshine Stars FC of Akure, Katsina United FC, and Enyimba FC of Aba, which has won the CAF Champions League twice. He was a phenomenal figure in Nigerian club football.

“While We express our sincere sympathies to his immediate family, his loved ones, his team and fellow players, the Nigeria Football Federation, as well as the entire country’s football community, and we pray for the eternal rest of his soul in heaven,” he stated.
